Most apps tell you what you get. This one also tells you what we’re never going to start charging you for. Short version: the round is free, the trip is $49, and nobody pays to find out who owns whom.

Four guys splitting it is $12.25 each. You will spend more than that on the turn. One guy buys it; everybody plays.
Change your mind? Full refund inside 14days, as long as the group hasn’t scored a round on the hub yet. Once you’ve played it, it did its job.
Why once, and not every month
The other trip apps rent you the planner for about fifty dollars a year. That’s a fine deal if your group is on a plane every other weekend. Most groups take one trip a year and talk about it for the other eleven months.
So we sell you the trip, not the year. You pay when there’s actually a trip. One payment covers the whole crew — twelve guys is four dollars each, less than the cart — and the hub stays yours for good. Rebuild it, reopen it, pull the recap up at Christmas. Nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel in February when nobody’s playing.
Some planners are free, and they’re genuinely fine at the part they do — dates, itineraries, a shared calendar. None of them score the round, none of them settle the money, and none of them put it on your record. That’s the part we’re charging for, and it’s the part you’ll still be arguing about in February.

What is NOT in here, and never will be: your head-to-head records, the season earnings board, the simple pin yardage, and a starter set of badges. Those are free, permanently, for everybody. Knowing who owns whom is the reason you play these guys. We’re not selling it back to you.
Why it’s free until April, plainly: this tier sells you your own history, and we wiped the stats clean on July 21. Charging in January would mean charging for “multi-season trends” against five months of half a season. There’s nothing to trend yet. So it’s open to everybody through March 31, 2027, and it starts costing money on April 1, 2027 — when a full season actually exists and golf is back.
We’re not taking a card for it. Nothing to cancel, nothing that quietly starts billing. When the free window ends, nothing happens unless you decide to subscribe.
Founding members: if you had a claimed round before October 1, 2026, premium stays free for you permanently. You don’t have to do anything. You were the data.
About the money
We keep score and do the math. That’s the whole job.
Two Down never sets a line, never takes a cut, and never touches a dollar of your action. The bets are between you and the guys in your cart, the same as they were before you had a phone. When it’s time to square up, we tell you who owes what, hand you off to Venmo with it filled in, and get out of the way.
The only money that ever reaches us is the $49 Trip Pass, and premium if you ever choose it — a flat price for software, the same whether you win the trip or get buried.
Questions
Do I have to pay to see who won?
No. Scoring a round, settling it, your head-to-head record and this season’s earnings board are free and staying free. That’s not a promo.
Does everyone in my group need to buy a pass?
No. One trip, one pass, everybody plays. The other guys don’t even need an account to score or watch.
I already have rounds in here. Does this change anything for me?
No. Everything you use today stays exactly as free as it is today — and if you had a claimed round before October 1, 2026, you’re a founding member: premium stays free for you permanently.
Is this a betting app?
No. It’s a scorekeeper that’s honest about money games. We never set odds, never take a rake, and never hold anybody’s money.
Can people see how much I've won or lost?
Not unless you turn it on. Public pages show ratings and records — the won-lost, the rivalries, the ladder. Your dollar figures are yours.
What if I buy a pass and the trip falls apart?
Email us inside 14 days and you get all $49back, as long as nobody’s scored a round on the hub yet. If the group already played on it, the pass did what you bought it for and we’ll keep it. Nothing about a Trip Pass renews, so there’s never a second charge to worry about.

What happens on April 1, 2027?
Nothing, unless you want it to. Premium is free for everyone until then. On April 1, 2027 it’s $5/mo or $40/yr if you choose to subscribe— we’re not holding a card and nothing charges on its own. We’ll email you before that date, not after. And founding members never see a bill at all.
